Our goal |
How we are approaching it |
To foster civic pride in Nutbourne, the hamlet's heritage and traditions and the Residents' Association's continuing work to conserve and enhance our environment for future generations. |
By showcasing all that is best about the area, both in words and pictures, and making it easier to find. We're keen to do justice to the splendid work on local history and heritage from the .org.uk site. |
To reflect both the area's thousand year heritage and the vibrant, modern nature of life and work here. |
By embracing new technology like uploads and pages you can maintain in your browser but balancing this with a traditional look and feel. |
To broaden our appeal to the younger generation and make the site somewhere they would choose to visit both for a school project and to find out what's on. |
By making Nutbourne.org more visual through the use of pictures and video, by keeping it up to date and by adding new sections like the Gallery and the 'Nuts about Nutbourne' feature |
To make it easier for Nutbourne Residents' Association members and local historians and ramblers to get their message on-line with a minimum of fuss. |
By including simple form to upload input ready to publish and by incorporating technology to allow page owners to maintain them simply in their own web browser without additional software. |
To encourage local businesses to showcase what they make and sell, alongside their environmental and corporate social responsibility policies. They have much to be proud of! |
As well as links to their websites, we hope to add news stories about the products that are made in Nutbourne and sold around the world. We will make help available to create something special. |
