Nutbourne's History in Pictures:
Millennium Celebrations and Street Party: 2000

Residents of Nutbourne, West Sussex, turned out in force to mark the Millennium on Sunday 9 July 2000

The assembled crowd.

In the summer of the Millennium year, Nutbourne closed The Street to traffic and had a day of celebrations.
All of the villagers were invited and most attended. Country and Western Bands and Jamaican steel bands
played throughout the event. It was a great day for socialising and getting to know the neighbours,
and finished with a grand barbecue in the garden of The Rising Sun.
